Kérastase’s first pre-shampoo hair treatment, suitable for all hair types, removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair. This includes damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching, over-processing and other types of hair damage.
Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to 3 times more calcium than natural hair. This hair treatment is formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine and has a dual action: it decalcifies hair from this calcium overdose and works to repair its appearance, helping to visibly restore hair strength and reverse its stiff, dull appearance. Once excess calcium is removed, this product which is formulated with the amino acid glycine, works to deeply repair the feel of strands. Hair is left stronger, healthier-looking, and shinier – as if renewed.

- When to Use: Before shampooing.
- Application: Apply generously onto wet lengths. Massage throughout. Leave on for 5 minutes. Don’t rinse.

My hair has never felt this clean
I was extremely pleased with how my hair looked and felt after using this product combined with the Kerastase Premiere shampoo. My hair has never been this soft and light from root to end. Feels extremely well cleansed and not dried out which is something that other highly cleansing products can cause. My only complaints would be that the instructions are not overly clear. This is a pre-shampoo so clearly it has to be applied on the scalp, but the instructions say to apply to ‘lengths’. It would also be helpful for the instructions to have a recommendation for the amount of product that should be used as it does not foam up so it is difficult to know if enough has been applied. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product and would want to repurchase in the future.

Love from first use!
Wasn't sure about the consistency at first, as most of the pre-wash products I used have creamy consistency. But couldn't be more mistaken! Absolutely in love with the product. Makes my hair so smooth and shiny l can't stop touching them!

Strange texture
This product for me was a little odd, it said to massage into the hair but it doesn't foam up and is quite difficult to massage in, you have to use a lot of it. Leaving it on for five minutes before shampoo also adds a lot of time to hair washing. However after using the three products together my hair felt amazingand not knotty at all, even after the first wash.

Noticed difference from first use
Very happy with products. When 1st using it can feel that takes a while to do full treatment (5mins for pre treatment, then shampoo, rinse then another 5mins for conditioner) but the results after that 1st treatment was amazing. My hair was so shiny and soft. My scalp felt the cleanest its been been in a long time, and after each use, it just keeps getting better. Treatment had a nice smell, but felt it was more a ‘mens aftershave’ smell than ‘womens perfume’.

A fantastic pre-treatment
I don’t often use pre-treatments but this is a very good quality one. I feel the product could be a little thicker to make it easier to coat the hair as it’s very liquid and thin so it feels like you have nothing on your hair and so you use a lot of product, but it is very effective. It makes your hair smell lovely and soft. I leave the treatment on longer than it says and gently comb the lengths of my hair through to fully coat the ends and I can clearly tell it improves the condition of my hair

Best pre shampoo
I really like the pre shampoo, it was easy to use the pump dispenser makes it easy to control how much you want to use. The scent is really nice not too overpowering and isn't heavy weight easy to rinse out
