Kérastase’s first pre-shampoo hair treatment, suitable for all hair types, removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair. This includes damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching, over-processing and other types of hair damage.
Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to 3 times more calcium than natural hair. This hair treatment is formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine and has a dual action: it decalcifies hair from this calcium overdose and works to repair its appearance, helping to visibly restore hair strength and reverse its stiff, dull appearance. Once excess calcium is removed, this product which is formulated with the amino acid glycine, works to deeply repair the feel of strands. Hair is left stronger, healthier-looking, and shinier – as if renewed.

- Application: Apply generously onto wet lengths. Massage throughout. Leave on for 5 minutes. Don’t rinse.

You will love this!
As someone who works with haircare, I definitely pay attention to what is the best possible option for me and my hair goals. My hair was bleached multiple times and after using the pre shampoo treatment, I have noticed that my hair definitely felt healthier and less damaged. I experienced a lot of less breakage as well, which is really important. If you are someone who wants to invest in good haircare, I would highly recommend. The products also smell very fresh, which is an absolute plus from me. Please buy the whole range if you would like the routine to be more effective.

Wouldn't recommend for coloured hair
Unfortunately, this product just wasn't for me. Positives: is smelt amazing and did leave my hair feeling nice Negatives: unfortunately the combination of products stripped quite a lot of colour from my hair, considering it's meant to be safe for coloured hair.

New go to product!
I’ve never heard of a pre shampoo treatment before trying this but I don’t think I’ll be going back now! It’s a weird combo of gel and oil at once but feels nice rubbing into your hair, not sure if my hair is just super dry(it has been coloured) but it takes a good amount of pumps to thoroughly work it through my long hair. I’m not 100% sure what it is doing for my hair but I do know it’s working and my hair feels great! The scent is definitely more masculine but so clean!

Good quality product
I liked the overall result using this alongside the shampoo and conditioner as it left my hair feeling nice and soft and clean. My only negative is that when using it as part of your usual morning routine when trying to wash your hair quickly, having to leave it on for 5 minutes before applying shampoo adds a bit of extra time to your morning shower (plus having to leave the conditioner on for 5 minutes too adds even more time).

Great pre-shampoo treatment
Firstly this Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo Treatment smells amazing. The bottle looks high end and premium. The product is silky and smooth and glides onto your hair. It feels like an expensive salon treatment but at home. It made my hair feel healthier and strong. It also made my hair look so shiny. I have thick hair that never holds onto smells however after using this my hair smelt like it for days after. I would definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it.

Firstly this Kérastase Premiere Decalcifying Repairing Pre-Shampoo smells amazing. The bottle looks high end and premium. It has a light silky formula that glides onto your hair. This makes it feel like an expensive salon treatment at home. It made my hair feel really strong and look renewed. My hair also looked really shiny and glossy and felt really clean. I have thick hair which never holds onto smells however after using this, my hair smelt like it for days. I would definitely buy this product again and would highly recommend it.

KÉRASTASE PREMIERE PRE SHAMPOO
I have very long dry hair that is prone to split easily. I found the pre shampoo followed by the shampoo and conditioner overall very good! It has left my hair silky soft and shiny, it feels hydrated and not as fly away as normal. It has a nice smell however I find its not as strong smelling as others previously used nor does the fresh smell last as long. But I'm really amazed at how lovely my hair feels and looks even after the first use. I am looking forward to continue using this product to see the full benefits it has to offer on long term use.

Not great
Wouldn’t use it again. The bottle cap is a screw cap which makes it difficult to close when you have product in your hand. It also made my hair greasy very quickly.
