Brighten skin and target the visible signs of ageing with the Vitamin C Suspension Serum 30% in Silicone from The Ordinary. The waterless antioxidant-packed topical formula remains completely stable due to the absence of water.
Enriched with 30% of Vitamin C in its purest form (L-Ascorbic Acid), the serum helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and discolouration, working best at night when skin is most receptive. The addition of very light silicones allows the serum to effortlessly glide across the skin for a silky-smooth finish.
Free from water, alcohol, oil, nut, gluten and soy.
Vegan. Cruelty-free.
Please Note: The format of this formula is a suspension of very fine L-Ascorbic Acid powder and, as such, provides the most direct exposure of extremely high concentrations of Vitamin C topically. With such format, a very strong tingling but non-irritating sensation is expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use until the skin's tolerance to such high exposure is elevated. If the sensation is too strong to tolerate, the formula can be mixed on each application with other creams or serums of your preference.

I'm now on my 3rd tube of this as I wouldn't be without it!! It really plumps up the skin and gives a lovely glow. Yes, it kinda stings initially but stick with it and you'll see the results. I love this product and it is so much better value than other similar branded products.

Only used this product on a few occasions since purchasing as it really does sting!! I haven’t noticed any redness, rashes or reactions however the product definitely tingles and stings which I’m not sure about. The texture isn’t one of luxury- it’s dry and feels a bit like rubbing expired toothpaste on your face. This product could have amazing effects after a prolonged use however the experience so far doesn’t really make me want to use it. Sadly, a regret purchase!

Amazing stuff! I have been using this as a night cream, and Ordinary serums in the morning the last week. My skin has never looked so healthy! I have a surgical scar on my face and this has faded it amazingly! It does tingle abit but that’s the strength of vitamin c in this product and it working I guess. Goes on Matt so I’d only apply in the evening and let it work overnight as it wouldn’t work under makeup. It might irritate sensitive skin, but it can be diluted with a serum or moisturiser and work just as well. Would definitely recommend this for scarring or uneven skin tone. 10/10 from me

Not What I expected
Upon first application i found the product to be s good consistency and sank in well, then the tingling sets in...which having used Vitamin C products before isn't a good tingling...its more like an uncomfortable itching and something that dries your skin doing more harm than good..for me at least any way. Shame as I love Ordinary products as they're cruelty free and reasonably priced but this is far too strong a product I think.

This is really bad.
It stings if you have any spots on your face so I definitely can’t use it anymore. It’s basically a white liquid that makes your skin sting and smells like plastic. It also just sits on top of your skin and makes it greasy, it honestly does nothing.

Amazing skin changing product
Over the last 30 years I have tried so many skincare products to achieve decent looking skin. Using this product through 2019 I have had the most compliments of my skin from friends and skin professionals since I was having weekly facials and an expensive skincare routine. My skin has had age spots, fine lines acne scars, enlarged pores and a dullness to it. But whilst using this product it has reduced the patchy dis-colouration, brighten my overall completion, reduced the look of enlarged pores and fine lines making it feel smoother to the touch and making makeup easier to apply. There is no hiding the discomfort of the tingling when you apply it but after a week or so of regular night time application it becomes less noticeable and I believe it is well worth it when you start seeing the results!
