Suitable for all hair types, the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Repairing Shampoo removes excess calcium and helps visibly repair all types of damaged hair, including damage by heat tools, colour treatment, bleaching and over-processing. Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.

Professional quality
I love the smell and the stylish bottle. It looks expensive and high quality. You only need a little for it to lather up, I have found that my hair looks shinier and healthier and takes less time to straighten and stays straight the whole day. The instructions state to leave in for 5 minutes but with all 3 this was not feasible as 15 minutes waiting in the shower is a lot. I did find that it dried my hands out but that was the only down side.

Gentle shampoo that is great at repair
This shampoo lathers into a nice foam very easily and is very easy to work with. It cleanses really well as well as being gentle on my hair and removing residue of mineral build up. The scent is nice and subtle leaving my hair fresh and clean

Great for oily hair
I’ve been trying the pre-shampoo, shampoo and conditioner for 2 weeks now. I have a really oily scalp and my hair would usually weigh down the day after shampoo but now it usually lasts for three days and feels a lot more fresher. Wouldn’t work great for dry hair but definitely a great product for oily hair like mine. Using the three products together made my hair shinier as well, loved it overall

Effective
I trialled this alongside the pre-shampoo treatment and conditioner of the same Kérastase Première decalcifying anti-rigidity system repair range. I found it very effective and nourishing for my damaged hair. It did not leave any residue and was very easy to use on damp hair for five minutes after pre-treatment to maximise cleansing and removal of excess calcium from hair. I found this really helped remove build up on my bleached blonde hair and left it feeling smooth and more manageable with less frizz. This collection contains citric acid and glycine to repair damage. My hair was stronger, smoother and shiner after a few washes. The texture of the product is lovely and it has a delightful scent. Lovely aesthetic packaging with an easy dispensing design that allows you to control the amount of product used. Small amount of product delivers great results.

Dries out my hair
I love the design of the bottle. It feels expensive and looks great on the side. The shampoo didn’t work as well as I’d hoped it to. It left my hair really tangled and stripped. Even with a pre-shampoo and a conditioner, my hair was still tangled. The scent is nice. It gives you the freshly washed salon hair smell.

Cleans to excellence
The Decalcifying Shampoo didn't lather as quickly as I was expecting but adding water it changed. After rinsing hair felt excellent cleaned and with a lovely fragrance left on. I had to wash my hair again after 3 days which was great. I did not experience any kind of itchiness and my hair stayed fresh for long. It layered well with the pre-shampoo and I believe they should always be used together. The creamy consistency and the amazing scent made my hair wash experience enjoyable.

Good shampoo with lovely smell
I found it thick and a little hard to work into a lather but a little goes a long way. I used it with the pre treatment followed by the conditioner and it does leave hair smooth, soft and with a nice fragrance. I do think that it makes my hair go greasy faster than other shampoos but having used it only 5 times it may just be a while until my scalp adjust
