Great investment
I can't live without GHD straighteners when I am looking for that sleek look as I have very thick, wavy, long hair. These glide through my hair so well and heat up so quick. No sure what cap/attachments is for as it is too loose and doesn't stay on the straightener but this doesn't really detract from the primary use of the straighteners.

Disappointed
I have always had GHD's so when my set broke I had no hesitation in ordering another pair. however i was very disappointed in the GHD Gold, I have long, thick and wavy hair, I had to go over this numerous times and even then it wasnt as straight as what my old GHD's would get it. Found the Gold very light and nowhere near as hot as the original. By the time I got home that night my hair was starting to frizz something it has never done in the past. In the end I returned them and have ordered the original thick plates that I have always had. Would not recommend this product. It also took me twice as long to do my hair.

Half the time for the style you want!
Since I have long, thick, frizzy and very curly hair I wanted to ditch my old straighteners and invest in some new ones. I was looking at the ghds as I got some for my tenth birthday but unfortunately they were fake so decided to try again and thought the wider plate ones would be easier for me than the original slim ones. I was so excited to try these and I am glad I did and they are worth every single penny it's the best thing I have bought with my money. The plates are so smooth and glide effortlessly through the hair. I also used the voucher for the free heat protection spray and it smells absolutely gorgeous. I am so satisfied.
