Equipped with ceramic technology and an ioniser, the brush heats consistently to ensure the optimum styling temperature of 185ºC. The ions work to soften the look of frizz and fly-aways in just a few quick strokes, lending your locks salon-smooth, natural movement.

Featuring high-density short and longer bristles, the hot brush allows large sections of hair to be styled quickly and professionally. What’s more, the ghd Glide even goes into automatic sleep mode after 60 minutes of non-use.

So good!

I have naturally straight hair but it’s very long and often has awkward waves/kinks in it from using hair bobbles or sleeping on it through the night. I’m always resistant to using straighteners on already straight hair as I want to limit damage so I opted for the hot brush and I’m so glad I did, it’s so effective and seems so less damaging to the hair. It provides smoothness, silkiness and shine. I’ve taken off a star as it does take a couple of minutes to heat up and it’s quite heavy but it’s definitely worth it

Worth the cost

Expensive but worth the money. It smooths out hair just like straightening but gives natural movement which is really pretty, instead of it just being poker straight.

I ordered this with high hopes The brush gets extremely hot. Takes a while to heat up to. Doesn't really do much to my hair. I prefer the ghd straightners got this because I thought it would make mornings quicker but makes them longer. Also the steam that comes of it is very worrying. I'd advice not to get it.

SO SO SO HOT!

This brush is unnecessarily hot and you can't choose the temperature?! It has to be over 220C+ I thought my hair was going to singe and fall out! I have fine shoulder length hair and bought this for 'no wash hair days' you know, when you've slept and have pony tail kinks etc, just to get some volume and order back. but fine hair doesn't really work very well on it. it doesn't "grab" the hair, like it would thick hair. I have only used it 2-3 times now as I'm so worried at how damaging it is. The amount of steam that comes off this, is shocking. It would be a gem of a device, if you could choose the temperature.

Revelation!

I have very thick very long hair and have no idea what I’d do without my GHD large plate straighteners… slightest bit of moisture and my hair goes wavy and frizzy! I expected this hot rush to be useless on my hair but was dying to try it anyway. Thank goodness I did as it is brilliant! With several Strokes of the brush it straightened out the kinks really well and left my hair with body! When you straighten your hair with the straighteners it’s very difficult not to leave your hair looking very flat - which of course it is great. They won’t replace the extremely slick finish of the straighteners right after washing my hair I don’t think - but they are absolutely amazing and I will be using these in between washes every time!

Bought this as used Ghd straighteners daily for years but was breaking my hair, so thought I’d try. Was a bit difficult at first but soon got the hang of it. Needed less strokes than straighteners and definitely is kinder to my hair, but is quite heavy to use but pleased with results. Only wish the head was slightly curved to aid smoothing my graduated bob better
