Wet hair thoroughly. Apply a generous amount of cleanser to fingertips and massage well into scalp. Ensure entire scalp is cleansed, starting at the top of the head, working from front to back, and then sides. Apply more to length of hair as necessary. Loosely detangle with fingers. Rinse hair thoroughly. Massage scalp whilst rinsing to cleanse thoroughly, ensuring product/dirt is rinsed away.

The first time I used this, I had a lot of product in my hair, including sticky hairspray, so I really put it to the test! Because it didn't foam I genuinely thought it wasn't going to clean anything out, but I was so surprised by how effective it was. It didn't dry out my hair or leave it feeling stripped like most shampoos, even the curl specific ones and the fact I was able to detangle my hair quite a bit with my fingers was also a huge surprise and a massive plus in my opinion because when I used the conditioner the tangles basically fell out. The main thing was, my hair was super clean and felt great after.

Started using this after a co wash to encourage my curls and its just fabulous. My hair is sleek and the curls sre smooth for days. I also usually get an irritated scalp if I don't wash my hair minimum every other day, with at least once a week two days in a row - not great when trying to wash as little as often to get the best possible curls. I was so excited to try a new shampoo without sulfates and other chemicals. The consistency of this shampoo is so watery, though, no matter how much I used, it didn't clean my hair. I used it one 3 different occasions now so can confirm it just doesn't work for me unfortunately. I am still using the conditioner which is also a light consistency but works great. Just need to use a different sulfate free shampoo that is more substantial. It's a shame as my cantu shampoo worked much better and was half the price but was keen to try another brand that had even less chemicals.
