Designed with sensitive skin types in mind, Medik8’s Gentle Cleanser is a pH balanced formula that removes all traces of makeup, impurities and sunscreen.

The foaming face wash utilises mild cleansing agents to help purify the skin without stripping away its natural oils, working to minimise feelings of dryness post-application. Featuring antioxidant rosemary leaf, the formula helps to protect the skin barrier, while hydrating and nourishing with glycerin. Use twice daily to leave the skin looking and feeling refreshed.

No longer a fan

I’ve used this face wash for several years and liked it. However, on learning more about the skin barrier and the ingredients in foaming cleansers I’ve recently switched to oil cleansing exclusively. I feel that although labeled as ‘gentle’, the ingredients in this Medik8 facewash disrupted my skin barrier, and have noticed that my skin looks a lot better since I’ve stopped using it.

I discovered Medik8 after having Covid mask face back in 2020. Before then even if I used high end products I never had ‘great’ results. However, their products healed and brought my skin back to life, it looked better than it had in years! Their gentle foaming cleanser is just the best I’ve ever used. It’s so kind on the skin and one bottle lasts a long time. A little of the foam DOES go along way. Well worth the money.
